While EST3 has long delivered reliable fire, security, and mass notification capabilities through its modular design and multiplexed audio functionality, now is the time to plan your transition.
Edwards strongly recommends migrating to EST4 to ensure continued performance, supportability, and long-term system viability. Designed for a streamlined upgrade, EST4 offers efficient backward compatibility – allowing you to migrate without replacing existing wiring or peripheral devices, helping reduce cost and disruption.

We’ve created a simple, efficient migration solution to transition from EST3 to the next generation of Edwards panels, EST4. Thanks to backward compatibility, you can migrate to EST4 without changing wiring or peripheral devices – reducing facility disruptions and system downtime.
ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
EST4 provides increased survivability with pre-recorded messages stored at every CPU, which will play based on programming even if one fails during an emergency. In addition, EST4 can accommodate up to 150 nodes and 375,000 signature devices.
